Ms. Watson began her informal training as a psychotherapist at a very young age from her father, Tom Payton EdD, LPC, who was also a psychotherapist in the Dallas community. Ms. Watson completed her formal training by earning a Master's Degree in Professional Counseling from Amberton University. She has a full-time practice in Dallas, TX, where she utilizes conscious and unconscious modalities of psychotherapy. She holds an advanced certification in Clinical Hypnosis from the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis and the North Texas Society of Clinical Hypnosis. She is trained in EMDR and in Internal Family Systems. She believes that people have an innate ability to learn new behavior, and each person has the power within themself to grow which inspires change.
